Pilkeys in Keighley was the venue once again for the Northern quarterly final.
After the group stages only two players, both from The Duke of Bridgewater, Darren Cooper and Kenneth Greenhall remained with 100% records.
Probably the most surprising result of the day was Darren’s 4-2 defeat by Neil Hood (New Crown) in the semi-final. In the other semi Kenneth won by the same scoreline, 4-2, against Trevor Dawson (Duke of Bridgewater).
The final resulted in a 5-1 victory for Kenneth although missed doubles by Neil could have made the score much closer.
