Riley’s in Leicester was the venue for the 3.1 Regional Final and saw an afternoon of excellent darts with plenty of “180’s” along the way.
Following on from the group stages the quarter-finalists were Mark Bayliss and Rob Pierce from the Gigmill, Stuart Gosling, Morgan Rowland and Andrew Edwards from Potters Bar, Paul Siddle from Warsop Ex Servicemens Club and Shaun Wharton and Chris Wharton from Rileys. All won a place in the National Final to be held at the end of the year.
Commiserations to the rest of the guys who attended – but you will have another chance to qualify for the Nationals at the next Regional Finals!!
In the semi finals Mark Bayliss won 4 – 1 against Morgan Rowland and Andrew Edwards won 4 – 2 against Rob Pierce.
Mark and Andrew then went head to head in the final. Andrew was unstoppable and in top form winning 5 – 1 and taking away the 1st prize of £100. Well played!!
